Anybody have any experiences with Gothic Cabinets for wood furniture? There stuff seems to be of good quality and priced reasonably. We were thinking about buying some bedroom furniture from them.

We've bought three things from them over the years - a cd rack, a dresser and a bookcase. We had them finish the dresser, the other we did ourselves. No complaints. I would say the quality is good, not great, but good.

It's a good value, but you will definitely see small flaws, and it's not heavy stuff. But there aren't a lot of alternatives to cheap schlock and unaffordable stuff, so we're quite happy. If you want to see it, email me at noglider@pobox.com, and I'll let you look at the stuff we bought. We got two desks, a dresser, and a bookcase. We finished them all ourselves.

Good for inexpensive furniture. We've bought birch dressers, heavy and sturdy, nice design.
