hi: Any suggestions for a good autobody shop in our area? I have a dent in a 2002 passat van, the dealer's price of 1700 seemed high and I'd like to get some other quotes. Thanks, |

We've used Town and Country on Springfield Ave twice, and both times the service was great. Originally it was because they are the only accredited autobody shop for our car insurance. Because of that, the work is guaranteed for 6 or 12 months. Some minor thing went wrong with their last repair, and they were very accommodating and fixed it instantly, no questions asked. |

Millburn Collision, 2151 Millburn Ave in Maplewood; (973) 762-7885. Very nice, helpful folks (handled all the insurance problems & car rental), and the price seemed reasonable.

I use Millburn Collision & have always been happy with the service & results. Well, this time they've had my car for 6 weeks, but it was after an accident & lots of things kept coming up. Usually, I take it in for an estimate, they let me know about how long & I have it back pretty fast. If you took the car to DCH for an estimate, it will be the same as Millburn Auto; they do the dealership's auto body jobs & there is no mark-up from Millburn to VW. |
