Does anyone know where I can buy egg crate foam, or at the very least, a thick foam even if it doesn't have the egg crate shape? I need large pieces, 36X28. Thanks. |

Targets has them in the beding section for use as a matress pad. Maybe you could cut it to your specfications. |

I would think Linens n Things or Bed Bath and Beyond would carry egg crate mattresses. |

Back in grad school we used to make occasional trips to House of Foam in Palo Alto. I kid you not, a foam store. No clue if there is something similar nearby. I just hacked online and discovered that House of Foam is now running an online business at http://www.houseoffoam.net/ (for what it's worth). |

efoamstore.com makes foam slabs to order and, if you're not altogether sure what to order online, there's a toll-free number. It takes about ten days to get your foam, but so far, every one of my orders has been filled perfectly. Much better than any stock pieces from the fabric store. |
