the u.s. and iraqi officials are arguing over timing and implementation of elections and how best to elect representatives for the people of Iraq--a good sign indeed.
The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today..FDR..

You know what Kenney.. If you just posted the link with your last sentence I bet alot more people would read it. But that condescending tone leading off the thread is exactly what I dislike most about what passes for "Debate" out here. How about helping raise bar, huh?
Elections are an important step, there isn't a person alive that doesnt believe that. But its the nature of the elections and the handpicked way in which the administration wants to create them thats in question. True, democratic elections would create a Shia government that the US doesnt want. So they are going to talk alot about elections..as long as they can pick the candidates.
