HELP!! Being blue in a tenuously blue state, of course I'm sad and on the outs but regarding Italian chicken...even more on the outs and in the minority I think. I LOVE CHICKEN CACCIATORE...how many italian restaurants are w/in a 5 or even 10 mile radius of the Maplewood Theatre? Is there ONE that serves this old-fashioned wonderful comfort food dish the way it should be served, i.e. w/ pieces of chicken ON THE BONE!! There are quite a few that trumpet the fact that "there are no bones here!!" I truly feel that this is the market speaking...people don't like bones. Folks, I stumbled into a restaurant in Manhattan on Thursday night that was HOPPING at 11:00, every table full, quite expensive and they wouldn't let me keep my backpack at my table...guess what? They had at least one famous patron with famous hair and superb CHICKEN WITH BONES!! Where can I get my bones near us?? Be well, Carnivorously, David Buckley PS I focus on Italian due to the # of restaurants, because I love it and boneless chicken cacciatore is such a joke but I'd like to know about ANY kind of chicken with bones from any people/cuisine of the world... |

David Go to Carribean Cuisine and order their Curried Chicken Roti. Make sure that you stipulate that you want it on the bone. |

David, come on....bones are disgusting. I don't know if you know this about me, and we've been friends for quite some time now, but bones are GROSS. I cannot eat meat with bones, and I know there are many others like me. I'm glad our call is finally being answered! You will never eat meat on the bone at my house... sorry, my friend. |

This conversation reminds me of a song my grandmother used to sing. Save the bones for Henry Jones, 'cause Henry don't eat no meat. There is something oddly satisfying about eating the last morsels of meat from the bone. Rock on David Buckley |

Zoesky don't eat no wings--haven't seen boneless ones yet! Thread about Nunzio's on Springfield says their garlic chicken is boneless too....ahhahhhhhhhhhhha!! Be well, all. David Buckley |
