It’s Our Birthday (sort of)- PIM’s second annual Pot Luck Holiday Party will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 7pm at Les Saisons, 304 Elmwood Avenue, Maplewood.

Our guest of is honor Cornelia Seckel, publisher and co-founder of Art Times. She will share her experiences founding and running an independent publication. Bring a dish and favorite beverage to share. RSVP’s only!

PROFESSIONALS IN MEDIA is almost a toddler and growing steadily. Whether you are at the top of your game or starting out, the cottage industry is returning – take the time to make friends and develop colleagues locally. It works.

ARTTIMES, published since 1984, provides commentary and resources for the fine and performing arts. Each month 28,000 copies are printed and distributed in the Northeast Corridor of the US; concentrating in the Metropolitan New York and Hudson Valley Regions; with papers also sent across the US, to Europe and Asia.

Cornelia is affiliated with The National Arts Club, NYC; Artists Fellowship, Inc.; ArtTable, Inc.; Catharine Lorillard Wolff Art Club, NYC; NOW; NYS Women’s Press Club; and included in the Marquis’ Who’s Who in American Art. In 1994, in honor of the 10th Anniversary of ART TIMES, she and her partner Raymond J. Steiner received a citation from Governor Cuomo recognizing their dedication and commitment to all the arts. In addition to her work with ART TIMES, she frequently judges art shows, gives talks to Arts Organizations on various topics including “How to get the attention of the Media”.

CSS, Publications, Inc., publisher of ART TIMES, has also published "The Art Students League of New York: A History" by Raymond J. Steiner. For more information:

Duncan,
I was there, and meant to introduce myself, but you were out of there pretty quickly. Understandable, sounds like you're a busy man who isn't going to let that get in the way of being a good family man. I'm sure I'lll bump into you one of these days.
