Starletta, you signed up on your own, It does not say you used my referral link. Plus you are on the one for a regular iPod, mine is for the newer photo iPod.

this is legit! it's been on the news and some people i know have gotten the ipods. it doesn't cost you anything to sign up for an offer, then cancel! thanks

Check out this great site that is giving away totally
FREE iPods!

I've joined and I think you should as well.

It's a completely legitimate offer, and this company
has already given away $4 million in FREE stuff!

All you have to do is join, complete an online offer,
and refer friends to do the same. That's it!Here is my referral link. To help me get my iPod,
click this exact link to join, or copy and paste it into a browser:
http://www.freeiPods.com/?r=12709339

flug-
I just tried again using Nerscape and signed up forthe CDS. So now you have another credit. Please post when you've hit 5. After you hit 5, I hope people will use my link. I just thought of something. What's to stop someone from signing up 5 times themself then canceling?

Here is my referral link. To help me get my iPod,
click this exact link to join, or copy and paste it into a browser:

Well it's one address per account, er, or vice versa, so I think if they investigated, you wouldn't get yours.

I have to hit 10, not 5. Not sure why. PL me with your email, 'cause I don't think you signed up for mine, if you're on the regular free ipods site, I think you didn't use my referral link.. you must have just gone to the base site... which is the same effect for you, but doesn't help me at all. my referral link was above, and is the only one on this thread that is for the new photo iPod, not the regular or mini.

I used your link. I have 5 'registered' people on mine from friends I sent the link to but none show completed offeres. Even my own offer doesn't show. It said it could take a couple of days.

Sorry, flugermongers, I tried to sign up through your link. Sorry for the mix-up. I don't want a photo iPod; I'm trying for the mini (as per my link) because of the size differential.

By the way, my DVDs came the other day. 5 for around $12 when they add in their shipping charge, and I was wrong above, I don't see a commitment to buy more :-) Yay!

I signed up for the Blockbuster thing and it looks like you have to wait two weeks before you get credit. I can get others to sign up yet, right?

You're all suckers...

You're now going to be inundated with junk email for the rest of your lives.

Citibank online has an ipod offer if you open an account with them. Much safer than doing this pyramid marketing crap.

It's not being a sucker, I used a different email that I use specifically for spam mail.

I believe you can still refer people while your credit is pending, Jeffl.

Never heard of the Citibank thing, I'll look that up too.

Looked up the Citibank thing.. you have to put $2,500 in your account (gee, I don't have that, which is why I can't afford an iPod). And you have to pay a certain amount of bills online for a year or something with it. Eh.

Hi Jeffl, I believe it is because I initially signed up without a referral link. My cousin signed up off of mine, and said only 5 were required of him too.

Did you sign up off of mine? Your link says it’s not for the free PHOTO iPod, so I’m wondering if it gave you the option, or if you went to a different one completely. You're signed up for the older iPods, if you want to do the newer photo, that's mine.

I need people to sign up off of mine!! :-)

And yes, people have gotten their iPods, that’s in some of the articles. But I haven’t yet, no.

Thanks guys!

Oh, and Jeffl, they say wait up to 15 days for credit on your offer, and then call them. Mine took abotu a week, my cousin's took a day (he did the ink).

I'll ask again, has anyone from MOL actually received an iPod yet? I'm waiting for people to complete their commitments. I hope the fact that some have signed up means that they intend to follow through.

Hey jeffl,
Well, I have about 30 people "signed up" but only 5 have completed offers. I've got half to go. So I'd say only a small fraction of the people who sign in actually sign up.

TK, I can't access it either...

I looked at it the other day, so it must have just been "archived."

I had posted a lot of other articles before, though. Or if you want, I can just post them again.

Privacy-Assurance Seal Yanked Off Web Site

Thu Feb 10, 9:06 AM ET Technology - AP

By TED BRIDIS, AP Technology Writer

WASHINGTON - TRUSTe, the business community's guarantor of Internet privacy, abruptly ended on Wednesday its relationship with the company operating FreeiPods.com and other Web sites, alleging unspecified violations of privacy promises to consumers.

Gratis runs several Web sites that purport to offer free products, from condoms to iPod music players, in exchange for customers' agreement to accept trial offers from other companies and refer friends to the sites.

If it sounds too good to be true.....
