I found a sweet, quiet little toy terrier of some sort, today at 12:30, just walking along the sidewalk with no owner to be seen. He is wearing acoat of purple, blue and green with a red leash holder around his middle and blue leash. However- no license! Please call me 646 322 0239 to let arrange to get him. |

Carol- Call Millburn Vet and ask if they would try to scan it for a chip. With a coat and leash he's got to belong someone. |

Thanks. The owner has been found. It was cute to see the little Yorkie with our big greyhound for a minute. |

Hi Again Carol- Nevermind about calling Millburn Vet! I understand the dog is back with Perferred Petcare. I called Maplewood PD to ask if anyone's called about a missing dog, knowing not everyone in town knows what a great source of information MOL is! They told me Perferred Petcare was looking for a dog. I called information, got the number called them to give them Carol's phone number. They told me the dog Carol found was the one they were looking for and they were reunited. I suggested the might mention to the owner the dog should have a license in case it get's lost again. |

Can you imagine Preferred Pet having to tell the owner that they lost their dog? When I first saw Carol's post, I thought about the dog walkers I see with 4-5 dogs at once & what a disaster it could be if the leash for just one got dropped. |

I strongly recommended to them that they insist on a n ID before they even consider walking them. I then thought actually what they should have is ID's they take on and off with their cells and.or office. I told them they owe me a free dog walk. I wonder if I dare take them up on it. They'd never catch REd. |

Looks like Carol and I posted at the same time. LOL I thought the same thing about dog walkers after the police dept said erferred Pet lost a dog. I also thought why someone would go through all the trouble to put a coat on their beloved pet but no tag? Carol -It must have been cute to see the big dog with the litle one. |
