Send this warning to everyone on your e-mail list!

If someone comes to your front door saying they are conducting a survey on deer ticks and asks you to take your clothes off and dance around, do not do it!

IT IS A SCAM! They only want to see you naked!

I wish I'd gotten this yesterday. I feel so stupid.

NOW I UNDERSTAND!

Alas, I am slightly hard of hearing, so I was very offended when, after checking me, the scammer pronounced that he had found me to have a very small tick. At least that is what I now realize he must have said.

Jeez,

How can anyone be so stupid to fall for the old deer tick scam??

I mean its so obvious.

I hope all of these scammers don't threaten the truly good work done by so many volunteers going door to door, why just yesterday I got a free colon cancer screening.

Deer ticks, thats a laugh.

Well, I did figure out that guy who came by on Halloween dressed as a mammogram machine, because as soon as he was finished, he asked for candy. A REAL man dressed as a mammogram machine would have asked for a cup of coffee or a beer or something.

Oh my gosh, I'm SO embarrassed - I feel like such a fool!

Not only did I fall for the scam for the first time 12 years ago, but that SCAM artist actually convinced me that I needed to be checked for ticks several times a week for the rest of my life! So I MARRIED him!

Gotta admit, though, I HAVE been tick-free ever since, and the whole process feels pretty nice, especially when he checks for internal ticks. ;-)
