LOL, but you might be surprised. My sister in laws grand kids attend CCD at a Catholic church on Staten Island that actually has the kids do a Passover Seder to better understand their root religion. :-)

The last supper is generally thought to be a passover seder. This makes the seder very much a Christian as well as a Jewish experience.

The story passed down from generation to generation at the seder table comes directly from the book of Exodus, a book which forms an itergral part of both the Christian and the Jewish litergy.

I was picking up my kids from CCD class at OLS last week and someone wished me "Happy Holidays" upon leaving. I said politely, you can wish me a Merry Christmas. I mean, come on, if you cant be reasonably assured of wishing someone Merry Christmas and not offending them leaving CCD class, when can you?

If I remember correctly, its the confraternity of Christian doctrine -- Catholic education program

And don't ask why a Jewish girl from the Bronx turned UU knows that!

Did I do good Hank?

Born in the shadow of Yankee Stadium -- but moved when I was still too young to climb the El to watch the games (like my brother and sister did!)
