We'll be flying to New Zealand in February and my friend recommended getting a Leapster for my 5-year-old son for the trip. It comes with one cartridge, and I ordered the Kindergarten and First Grade cartridges, but was wondering if anyone knows anything about the "Word Factory Video" or the "Electronic Book: Reading with Phonics: Mole's Huge Nose" cartridges, as there are minimal or no reviews for those on Amazon. Any other cartridge recommendations? I'm not inclined to go with the Incredibles/Spiderman ilk.

Jasper,
We have every one, and they really are all great. there are different classifications, like video, and interactive. The word factory ones are really like taking along an educational video, but the kids love the incredibles one. I balked , but it's cute. never heard of moles, tho. You can't go wrong with any; the baseball one is good but too old for him. Kindergarted one is the best for his age.
