Will it be as good as Big Train's horn-infused gig in Hoboken this (or is it now last) evening? |

Ahem. Hoboken is still trying to cool off after Big Train set it ablaze last night. (I also heard that the Nightmares were in top form at a recent Max Daniels gig.) |

There's a rumor that this event is SOLD-OUT. It is not sold out. While we anticipate that this event will sell-out, there are still tickets available at both Robin Hutchins Gallery (Maplewood) and Maileboxes, Etc. (South Orange). You should get your tickets ASAP. Robin Hutchins Gallery will be open until 7 PM tomorrow night (Thursday) and Mailboxes, Etc. is open until 6 PM every night ... I also understand that Gary Shippy and Chris Dickson will be at the Maplewood train station tonight selling tickets ... They'll be hanging near the ticket window ... This is a great event for a great cause. I also understand that the crack committee has lined up some way cool door-prizes and that Julie Porter is this year's Applause-O-Meter Girl ... Can it get any better?! Thanks, Moose |

Just The, I wish we could, but the logistics and planning are too big. 4 bands, merchant food, the hall, the PA guys. Yikes! I shudder to think of re-scheduling. Hopefully we won't get too much. We'll be there. Hope to see you! (We usually get a snow storm right around the Battle. I hate to think of what would happen if we held the show in June...the horror!) |

and this just in From Chris Dickson:: There is NO SNOW DATE for Battle of the Basement Bands. The event will take place Saturday night, no matter what the weather. The great thing about having this event locally is that no one will have far to drive. Rest assured, if it's cold and snowy outside, it will be hot, funky and fun inside! Don't let the weather scare you off. Get your tickets today ... |

We have made arrangements for the snow to fall elsewhere. In any case, the heat emanating from the stage will melt anything that does fall from the sky. |
