There is a very strange, anti-Bush man standing in front of the Post Office spewing nonsense. He is out of his mind, full of bull and very entertaining. He also has a license to be there! You gotta love America!

Perhaps he should get together with the person who put Bozo's nose on Bill Clinton and both of them can offer some politically balanced entertainment.

Did he cut all the shrubery & trees down in front of the PO , to expose that fine ex. of early 60's architecture ? Maybe He thought he was in Crawford with some time on his hands.

I love Bill Clinton! He is charming and looks like a lot of fun.

Spencer, the cop, told me the nut job has a license, otherwise he would be taken away in a straight jacket. He told me the government could manage social security better than the evil private sector. HA! My CHECKING account makes more interest. What a Bozo!(sorry Bozo).

If Rosa Boza married Spinoza, she'd be Rosa Boza Espinoza, and he would introduce her to his friends and "Mi esposa, Rosa Boza Espinoza". And
I suppose if Spinoza died, she could marry Sammy Sosa, and become Rosa Boza Sosa. And...

That guy is one of the Lyndon LaRouche followers.

I think LaRouche is technically a Democrat, but also an anti-Semitic, ex-con, conspiracy theorist, lonelyhearts loon-bag.

Here's a link to some history on Lyndon - What I find interesting about LaRouche is he sort of flies beneath the radar. He almost always runs candidates in local and National campaigns, but no one really seems to make an issue about his creepy platforms.

I met some LaRouche supporters in DC; they were on the street handing out literature.

I passed by them thinking, "I will not tease the LaRouche supporters by pretending to be a conservative, I will not tease the LaRouche supporters..."

I commented on this board about him in mid December when I first noticed him. What galled me is not his free speech, but the reaction I got from the PO supervisor when I asked about the LaRouche display.
He wasn't interested, said it was none of his business, didn't bother to look to see what was going on out front, etc. At the time another person was complaining. Only got him to say he would check to see if the cops knew he there, when he was told about the content on the hand-crafted signage displayed. One suggested the President be kicked in his n--s. No matter your political opinion, should kids see such disrepect for the leader of this country? No wonder children today lack respect for authority - be they their own parents, teachers or presidents!

The LaRouche guy was a little scarey when I tried to confront him directly.

He was outside the PO on Friday, but I couldn't tell if those crude comments were still on his signs.

Does the LaRouche organization have enough financial backing to sustain this for the next four years?

An interesting question about the LaRouchites. Based on their long past history, they will have the staying power to be around for more than the next 4 years. They have been a thorn in the side of the Left since before the movements of the 1960's. LaRouche has gone from hard-core Trotskyite to being allied with far edge right wingers, with stops in the SDS, Socialist Workers Party, and Democratic Party along the way. His followers are totally dedicated to him (many have called it a cult), and he himself has served prison time for fraud related to fundraising--small amounts raised in airports, by mail solicitation, and phone solicitation. Yet, somehow, he seems to have enough money to have an international presence (the Schiller Foundation in Germany, for example), to run newsletters, and do other such things. He has supported nuclear energy and fusion, espouses conspiracy theories, been accused of being an anti-semite, run for president on the Dem ticket many times, supported Clinton during the Lewinsky scandal, and been accused by former supporters of admiring Hitler and being a fascist. All in all a wild guy on the fringe, but potentially a handful when agitated (his supporters supposedly used to violently attack Communist Party and Socialist Worker Party members for some strange reason).

Wikepedia has the following if you want to learn more (by the way, the LL folks strongly dispute this entry).
