Just talked with both playwrights again last night, and they are both very excited to be in attendance. As usual, they'll introducing their work, and taking feedback from the audience after each play is read. These are two really good one-acts- come one, come all this Saturday 1/29.

Not only can I come this time, I get to read one of em!!. Avian Way by Jill Maynard. And the more people in that room the better. The acoustics are a bit "hot" or "live" or whatever you want to call it, so some warm bodies to absorb some of the sound will be great. Not to mention you will get to hear two new plays and have a chance to help the playwrights with your feedback. So c'mon down to the Library on Sat night and then come out and have a hot chocolate or something after the readings. |

Come see Duncan get "fired"! He's a terrific actor for those that haven't seen him elsewhere. See everyone else too: Gene Ciccone, Thea Clark, Drew Dix, Danna Hunking, Julie Jin, Bethany Pettigrew. the space (Memorial Hall downstairs) has been redone beautifully. |

Just FYI- Entrance to the reading space at the library tonight will be the stairway to the right of the main entrance door: right behind the flagpole. Come on downstairs and take a seat. |

Thanks to everyone who came out in the finally-not-so-cold. It was quite fun to hear the back and forth between writers, readers, and audience members. Most interesting to me perhaps was that these plays, both of them, were written quite a while ago and still have resonance. The sign of a good story, so while some cutting could be done to both it is clear that the core material has some real merit. It was a great deal of fun to meet some new folks and read some new plays. Besides I am always looking for scripts as if I could afford to make anything after the bathroom redo this year Anyway, thanks to Drew and Thea for putting it together, bit by bit, dot by dot.
