I saw this, also. My wife says if I leave for Jen, I'll be back within weeks! Are you planning to postpone your upcoming nuptuals? |

In case I bump into Brad? As if he'd notice me? No thanks, I'm too realistic to ever fall for movie star illusions - and that's usually what these stars are - illusions. But these two seemed like they were made for each other (my sis says gas station attendant meets 7/11 check out girl) Movie stars should just live together, but I guess that would deflate the booming wedding/divorce economy out there. |

I would imagine that it would put a strain on my marriage if part of my job entailed making out with Angelina Jolie in front of a lot of cameras. I'd be able to deal with the discomfort of that aspect of the job, because I'm a professional, but my wife, even though Angelina couldn't hold a candle to her, might feel a pang of jealousy. If her job entailed making out with David Schwimmer or Jake Gullynhall (sp?) I'd have no problem, because there's no doubt that she's only acting like she's into it. |

Just because they look attractive on screen doesn't mean we'd be attracted to them face to face. An ex boyfriend met Angelina once - and he said she was so strange it just turned him off. But it depends, some people are more prone to looks and image than others. |

Yep, some people are more caught up in looks. I just think that even though both are professional actors, it's got to be really awkward watching your spouse do a love scene with someone else. It must be especially hard if the spouse's on-screen paramour is a method actor. Sorry honey. I need to do the romantic weekend with her, she's very dedicated to her craft. It's probably easier for Bollywood stars since they rarely, if ever, kiss in their romantic films. In fact the biggest Bollywood star, regarded by some as the most beautiful woman in the world, is crossing over to Hollywood. On 60 Minutes she was asked about whether her first on-screen kiss is imminent, and she didn't commit, saying there would have to be a good reason for it. She's definitely beautiful and also very interesting. Another pressure that these celebs have on their relationship is that they spend a tremendous amount of time away from each other. That's got to be tough. Since we're on the subject of relationships. Good luck on the impending wedding. Enjoy it. As a relatively newly-wed (2 years this May) I can attest to the fact that marriage can greatly improve a good relationship. |

Speaking of seeing stars in person and not having them be like you'd imagined, I once saw Catherine Zeta-Jones (c'mon, it's Cathy Jones, admit it, girl) and it was like she'd grafted Tommy Lee Jones' facial skin onto her cheeks. Not to be petty (meow), but pucky pucky pucky. Meow. |

Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward seem to be coping with fame, impossibly good looks and and on-screen romances fairly well. A movie shooting on location almost guarantees that people will start fooling around with each other. Attractive, creative, attention-seeking people spending days and weeks together, in hotels with every need met by crews of people designed to make them look and feel wonderful. Back home the ol' ball and chain is calling and checking up, or worse, coming to visit on the set and changing the vibe. It's surprising that any couple survives a movie. Or at least that's what I've heard goes on ;) |

My husband and I were joking some about the Brad/Jen split. I said that if his fondness for Angelina played a role, I could certainly see that, and in fact, the whole thing seemed very easy to relate to. It would be a real drag to have turned yourself into an attractive, fit actress, with family baggage, and to have worked hard to win Mr. Wonderful. Then, just when your career begins to happen, your husband gets kind of "been there/done that" and starts worshipping a free-spirited sex goddess, who acts like the ultimate mother, and talks about international issues of great moment To make matters worse, your husband drops here name a lot admiringly. It would almost be easier if he had slept with her. YIKES! That would make anyone insecure, and interested in splitting. Oh, and your husband hangs out with an inveterate bachelor and the guys....Now you know what I read in my spare time...! If I were her, I'd make a point of dining, etc. with really attractive, smart, political guys to get his goat. With the odd pub crawl with Colin Farrell, because he's younger... |
