We get a bi-monthly cleaning and had to cancel last week due to contagious illness in the house. When they come next week (god my house is gross right now) do I pay them for both weeks? Pay them extra because it is more cleaning? Pay them the usual amount? |

I just pay the usual amount because I just consider it a rescheduled cleaning - same job, just different week. I figure there are weeks that we're messier than others (e.g., if we were home more often because of work holidays or had houseguests or something), but I still pay them them the same. Our cleaners are part of a service, not an individual business if that makes a difference. |

If it's a cleaning crew I would pay them the same as usual. But 1 person should get double, you did hire her for 2x a month. |

I agree with Brett. When we cancel our bi-monthly cleaning lady we still pay her. Many times, she is able to come a different day in the week we've cancled her, but if she isn't we pay her anyway. Is she cancels, we don't pay her. |
