We're supposed to get a big storm this weekend, right?

Plows will be out clearing the roads, right?

So - here's my question: how much worse will the snow piles blocking the driveways be when the discarded Xmas trees are added to the mix?

Our tree has been out on Elmwood since 1/4. There are trees all up & down Elmwood. There are trees that are blowing all over the place. How hard is it to pick up some friggin' Xmas trees in a reasonably timely manor.

Rant over.

Thank you.

Ive got a different but related question. Did I miss the memo that said they would pick up the trees at curbside (they did) but no pine roping under any circumstances (they left it)?

They won't take wreaths or roping because it has wire in it. I don't know where this was posted, but they never have takent these that I know of. Makes the classic wreath awkward to get rid of. I usually cut out the wire and put the rest in the compost. R

They took my garland (with roping). But, the tree is still there!

They always took my roping and wreaths before. I've been here 6 years. The boughs are bound together with thin green cord, Ridiculous. Are they checking the trees for wire ornament hooks that get separated from the ornaments? Are they checking for stray tinsel? I don't think so.

Isn't this the company that contracts with the Township to pick up garbage? Therefore doesn't picking up Christmas trees violate separation of Church and State?

I thought Church and State intersected. And was in Irvington.

Snow removal question: if S.O. removes the snow in front of my house, can I get it back later in the season if I want it?

If they deliver snow back to me, how can I be sure it's my snow and not the snow from someone else's driveway? It could worry a guy to death...

You need to tag the snow with your Social Security number.
