Not only do they sell original Picasso paintings at Costco, but did you know they also sell caskets? So, I guess if I'm buying heart-clogging foods in bulk, I can just pick up a casket to go with it? http://www.costco.com/Common/CategoryMain.aspx?cat=20595 |

Don't give up so easily. Before you splurge on the casket invest in a defribilator. They've got those in the medical supply aisle. |

Sure they sell that stuff, but where the heck is the "Four Bean Salad?" BTW: Down here in FL, they don't sell Chock Full O'Nuts coffee, and they no longer sell Sweet N Low. This has caused a rash of restaurant shoplifting of those 'lil pink packets! We joined BJ's, because it's closer, but they really do suck! Costco is supposed to be coming to Wellington soon, but all this stuff is kept quite hush-hush. |

It is kind of macabre (sp) isn't it and I wonder how many funeral homes will let you BYOC (bring your own casket)? Still this is typical Costco. Caskets are high profit items for funeral homes. I love Costco. It is the only store I enjoy going to. We always spend much more than we planned, but haven't bought a casket yet. Us, I thought their coffee (the stuff in the individual serving bags), which I really like, was from Starbucks, not Chock Full O'Nuts? |

us2: You talk as though glombing artificial sweetener packets is something NEW! The women in my wife's family have been doing it for 30 years... -s. BTW: Thread Drift Alert: Sweet N Low vs. Equal? |

I seem to recall reading somewhere, that it is law that funeral homes have to allow you to choose where you purchase your casket. However, most bereaved families aren't thinking about shopping around when they need to purchase a casket. us2inFL - do you want a care package of pink packets? Perhaps some of us could gather some and ship them to you? |

There was a casket store in downtown Woodbridge where I used to live that had a sign which said, "Feel free to come in and browse." I'll always regret not taking a picture of that. Since it closed a few years back. |
