My husband's '68 is over 200k (at least according to the emblems on the front, I could totally be wrong).

My son's 1995 Chevrolet ex-turnpike pick up truck has 241k. It's a dependable rock! Only problem is it's orange, but he likes that!

Exwood - my 2002 only has 31k. You drive A LOT!

Dave- you jarred my memory about a former neighbor. He had an old, early-80s Dodge Dart (?) from his fraternity days. It was as ugly as could be & had a huge Bart Simpson painting across the back. His wife loved him enough to ride in it once a year (Halloween) when they always got pulled over at least once.

They moved out of the country about 3 years ago & he had to get rid of it. He donated it to charity (apparently one he hated ) and the day they came for it, he was practically in tears. I took a picture of him & his wife, standing next to it, in a 3-way hug.

VW claims they didn't make the commercial, it's a spoof. I sure hope that's true, but some people seem to have their doubts.

Maybe they leaked it with the intention of denying involvement. This way, they would have paid for the production but not for the distribution. And they keep their faces clean, if they can get us all to believe them.
