Does anybody know, in general, how many inches of snow we ended up receiving here in SO/M...

- this past weekend?
- President's Day last year?
- the big storm of 96?

Just curious.

I think we're up to zero here, but the drifts can be up to zilch

1996 was about 16-18 inches, I believe. I think that Presidents Day (2003) was about the same or a bit more. So both of those were somewhat more than the 12-15 inches reported around here this weekend.

I heard West Orange officially had 15.5 inches (Fox news). After shovelling my driveway, I swear it was more like 155.5 inches. I am seriously hurting today.

My best estimate for last weekend from a sheltered area on our deck was 15 inches.

In 1996 my memory is of close to 20 inches and true blizzard conditions with four foot plus drifts in the street. Our Sable station wagon was completely buried (it looked like a snow drift) and it took two days for our street to be cleared. NJT trains were messed up for a week.
