Tons of em.
what are you looking for?
And lots of restaurants in surrounding towns deliver to Mwood/SO.
So depending on what you want there are a bunch of places that deliver.
My cuurent favorite is Tinga in Millburn.

Maplewood Pizzeria on Valley - the only one that has fresh mushrooms
Tinga in Millburn (TexMex)
Jay's on SA, Cheese steaks, Burgers, etc. great for lunch
Pizza Primo on SA
Pappa Johns
Samurai Sushi (only to parts of MWD, they stopped delivering to our house)

Tinga in Millburn for Mexican!
Arturos in Maplewood for Pizza.
We haven't found a decent Chinese place that delivers, others can chime in there.

That's my contribution.

check the little local phone book, most of them will have ads in the yellow pages and state if they deliver or no.

I'm in South Orange, and we have gotten lunch time deliveries from:
East Garden (Chinese - located in WO)
Jays Grille (Springfield Ave in Vauxhall, but they deliver quickly and begin at 8 am, so we get our lunches on time!)
Tinga - Millburn
Tara's Gourmet Deli (if they have a delivery driver)
Arturo's - (they don't alwys have a delivery person)
El Greco - (on Fridays they apparently deliver pizza for school lunches, so it's nearly impossible to get a lunch order there on Fridays. )
Domino's
Pizza Hut
Papa Johns
Jade Lake (Chinese)
Sampan

Thanks everyone! We ordered from Tinga once when we first moved here this summer- found the food so-so and we haven't ordered from them again. We have gotten Papa John's a few times and while I love the pizza, I'm getting sick of it.

A friend told me about Jade Lake (or is it Luck?). We ordered and it was a nightmare, took over an hour for us to get our food and then they forgot the rice?!?! Also I thought it was pricey.

N/A,

Since I know where you live I can tell you Samurai Sushi will deliver to you!

For Chinese, there's also that newish place on Springfield, Hunan Taste I believe, and they will deliver too. Food is just ok to very good, depending on the dish you choose (but it's delivered!).

Maplewood Pizza also has really good veggie (spinach & broccoli) rolls. I also like Pizza Primos rolls. (I sometimes don't want pizza but everyone else does so I get a roll and salad.)

Does Samurai Sushi deliver lunch on Fridays? I plan on ordering lunch from somewhere tomorrow. Or I may order from Jays. I'm craving a juicy cheeseburger and fries.

Thanks!

Ginger Taste in Milburn (used to be called Sampan) is the best Asian food that delivers. Harry and David DOESN'T deliver (take out only) but is the best Chinese that I have found so far.

Nunzio's on SA is faster than Burnet BBQ if your in a hurry, although not as good.

I've had extremely bad luck getting deliveries from Arturo's once it took an hour and a half and another time we were at T-Ball behind the library only about three hundred feet from Arturo's and they were twenty minutes late! even though we called hours in advance. The delivery guy could not find the fields...

n/a - next time add a milkshake to that burger order!

Pizzaz - I know your delivery starts at 11 am. Can an order be faxed to you earlier than that, so we could have a food delivery by 11:30? Thanks!

Suzanne: For an early morning and very time sensitive delivery (I believe you're a school teacher), we would prefer if you could fax the order the night before to ensure timely receipt and scheduling. Our fax number is 973-763-6440.

Thanks for the inquiry.

FYI-Tried to get Samurai Sushi to deliver to Maplewood last Friday night after reading lots of good stuff about them on MOL. Said they were "too busy." Perhaps it was naive of me to expect delivery on a Friday night?

Arturo's Mexicana pizza on Traditional crust (thin crust can't handle all the toppings). Mmmm mmm.

I love the thin crust at Arturo's but youre right about all of the toppins.

Are there any sushi places outside the city that are really amazingly outstanding? I've been everywhere in summit, millburn, maplewood, and SO and they are decent...some better than others. Are there any restuarants in the surrounding areas? livingston, westfield, et al?
