Thanks Squeeks, we're really looking forward to having Joe back again tomorrow night..

We should have put the word out about tonight. We've been hot-hot-hot all night with our open mic. There have been 8 great performers so far. Scott Buck is playing lead guitar at the moment. He picked up a great bass guitar man out of the crowd, and a drummer the likes of something we've never heard before... now Art joined in on keyboard, here comes Willie on vocal,, who's this on Sax? WOW!!! Turn on your web cam, this is wild...

For those of you that missed being at Here's 2 the Arts last night.....I hope that you at least were viewing our webcam. The night started out with a show of magic with the internationally known Thomas Solomon performing feats of magic for the packed house audience. Then we had a newcomer to H2TAs, Laura, who performed several "folk songs." She is very talented singer/guitarist. Then Doug (becoming a regular) got up and performed a number of very tasteful renditions of several popular songs; and then came Jim, one our showcase regulars, Jim must have been inspired by the crowds...I've never heard him sound better; next on the list of talented performers came Todd and Sue Ellen, also regulars and they too must have been inspired by the very appreciative audience. The returning duo, Marcell and Fernando played several Portuguese numbers and then Willie and I got up and did a few songs. Then came Scott and his newly formed trio and entertained the room with a variety of well known and not so well known songs.

When all was said and done a total of 14 musicans entertained the nearly packed house.

All in all it was a great night.

Tonight (Friday), Maplewood's own Joe Traina Quintet will be performing. You don't want to miss tonight.

And tomorrow night (Saturday).....The Amazing & Wonderful Art & Willie will be headlining the evening's entertainment.

I'd like to take my family. Does the cover apply to children (8 and 4)?

Thanks Art & Art... I had a great time. The music was very hip and the musicians really cool cats.
I love the place, I'll be back. Oh yeah, and the coconut sorbet is a real killer... just like that Chai Latte!

Yes, we have a link request to our web-cam through Yahoo Messenger at the bottom of our home page... www.heres2thearts.com

Last night was great. Tonight Art and Willie do standards and show tunes. Desserts, drinks, and dancing. Tomorrow night, Sunday, 8:30 PM is not open mic, it's Jam Night.
