http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/europe/02/04/uk.rice/index.html

LONDON, England (CNN) -- U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice says an attack on Iran over its nuclear program is "not on the agenda at this point."

"The question is simply not on the agenda at this point," said Rice, in reply to a question after having listed U.S. criticisms of Iranian policy.

In London, Rice was greeted outside Blair's official residence by Straw.

Foreign Minister Straw's appearance notwithstanding, I loved the "at this point" part of the statement.

You may say anything you want. It is as we say "A Free Country", contrary to your political opinion.

Pathetic - ? - LOL. My horoscope is nothing but glowing.

Sexist - maybe in a few weirdo's minds.

But, mus mus, keep posting, I think you are exposing more than you know (to the general readership).

Not because of the anticipation. Because of the wisdom of not pulling options off the table. Recall -- Clinton ruled out ground troops with his fantastic Kosovo adventure that has resulted in a permanent solution and democracy flowing and no one getting cleansed anymore over there. (Sorry, I got carried away there). Citizen McCain who is just loved by all said it was a stupid thing to do and say.

Still, we bombed and bombed (and missed and missed as the post-war reports showed we didn't really damage too much Serbian hardware) and still Slobbo stayed right where he was. It wasn't until we called the Army into Italy and started movements toward the borders of Kosovo that Slobodan actually gave up.

If a tyrant, boss, employee or child doesn't think you'll go the distance then they have no reason to take you seriously. That's why the UN isn't feared at all.

musty,
How intriguing. You tell a "dude" that he is a loser, and then you ask permission from the "dude" if you can call him "dude".
Very circular. Let's talk amongst ourselves.

Honestly, I did not. I'd need much more than one post to start profiling.

cjc,

My reasoning was because it was his first post in combination with the brevity, and subject. If he had said something like "You tell 'em, mustt-mustt," (and only that) my reaction would have been the same.

Based on my experience, people who create an account for a webboard or chat usually do so in order to make that first post. A first post as vapid as that tends to come from an alias. If "Mr. NiceGuy" is not an alias for another poster, my apologies.

Since "profiling" is such a contentious word (particularly in this state), I avoid it as much as possible.
