We discovered this place over the weekend - it's on Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, and I think it's fairly new. We were in the mood for simple and inexpensive, and decided to take a chance just from the look of the place and the menu. It turned out to be sort of an upscale version of McDonald's - and I mean that in a NICE way. You order at a cash register from the menu overhead, like at Mickey D's; they've got burgers, hotdogs, steaks, grilled chicken, chili, soups, sandwiches and sides; you take a number and wait to be called to pick up your food on a tray.

It's clean, sort of cozy, the burgers are served on club rolls, not soft white bread, and I loved their sweet potato fries. I liked that you could order either a 1/4 lb. or 1/2 lb. burger. Definitely kid friendly. Next time you head to the movies in Montclair, keep this one in mind! It's at 454 Bloomfield Ave.
