the advertising agency that came up with this idea, http://www.rethinkadvertising.com/

It was a bus station billboard advertisement in Vancouver.
Apparently there was only $500 dollars of real money in-between the glass.

People were allowed to kick, hit, strike with objects, and even shoot the glass, It didn't break.

A local newscrew did a report on it and one of the crew kicked the latch on the billboard, causing it to open, but the glass didn't break.

The agency also placed a $100 dollar bill behind the glass in a washroom, right above a urinal.

The link at the top of my post will take you to ReThink's website, click on the website button, click on "Work", and scroll down & select "Trim Line", this will bring you to the 3M ads.

Look around the site a little, you might even a see a couple of ads you recognize.
I liked the "Review" section, allowing visitors to rate their ad, and commercial ideas.

That's not real money, there, eh? What kind of security test is that--no one steals Monopoly money, eh?
