Here's 2 the Arts, 97 Baker Street, Maplewood, NJ, without the cooperation of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, or ABC Television will host our own 1st Annual Academy Awards Party, beginning at 8PM, Sunday, February 27, 2005. No Cover - No Minimum Don't sit home alone Sunday night. Please join us as our special guest at Maplewood's own Oscar Award Party. You too can walk the Red Carpet and celebrate the Academy Awards Hollywood style. There will be 2 TV's, prizes, and lots of fun as we vote for our favorite movies and stars. Your welcome to bring your own wine and we can provide the cheese and crackers. Our reasonably priced platters of delicate cheeses will go with almost any of the fruity flavors you may bring. A creamy Camembert, Gouda, Edam, herbed Brie, Roquefort and even sharp Cheddar are good choices to complement your favorite wine. Of course no party is complete without dessert. We will offer a variety of deliciously incredible choices for dessert such as our Five Layer Chocolate Cake decorated as a web for the "Spiderman 2" theme. Our Ciao Bella Sorbet and Gelato lemon and orange fruit shells are in honor of "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events" and you can also order any of our other wonderful desserts alamode. And lets not forget the popcorn. What would a movie party be without bowls of the fluffy white stuff scattered throughout the room? End the evening with a steaming hot chocolate, latte, espresso, or cappuccino, as homage to the happy and toe-tapping routine in "The Polar Express."}

What about my kick back sofa lounger and 46" wide screen surround sound system. Last I measured, my refrigerator is only 10 feet from the couch. |

WOW! A 46" wide screen surround sound system.... OK! OK! OK! I know when I've been outdone. So, here's the deal; I'm willing to cancel another party at our place as long as Pizzaz agrees to invite everyone over to his place. And Soda, you speak for yourself... |

And while you're at the party throw some money in the coke bottle for Kids with Cancer. A bottle of donations was stolen from The Pub. |

I should also point out, Art+Art will not be offering the "goody bag" items mentioned above, but the fruit & cheese plate is generous. I predict Million Dollar Baby for best movie. |
