Dave, being sued isn't really that bad!

The cost of it gets to be a little annoying, but you kind of get use to it all after a couple of years...

What's worse than being sued? Having a car hit your house and take a chunk (albeit a very small chunk)out of it, run over all your foundation planting on that side of the house, take out your leader, sump pump outlet, outside water line, and water line to the street, and proceed to run over your Yew hedge starting at one end and driving over seven formerly beautiful four foot high + shrubs (from one end of the hedge to the other) and then smack into the neighbor's two cars which were parked on the other side of a low concrete wall separating the property.

Can we trade problems?

Thanks for the heads-up, Dave.

Looks like I'll have to get my number changed.

Dave:

The whole situation is scary, frustrating, maddening, sickening and should never have happened. This isn't the first website to be sued over content posted by its members and it won't be the last (unfortunately).

Still, there are lots of things that are worse than being sued (or having your house hit by a car). Out-living your child, losing a lifetime companion, being interred in a concentration camp, having a loved one near death in intensive care, the list goes on.

You will get through this. Look how many friends you and Jamie have to help get you through it. Hopefully it will all end before it even starts.

Dave, we're with ya. MOL is not going anywhere, your audience wouldn't allow it.

"That which doesn't kill me will make me stronger."

Something good will come of this, even if it's not evident yet. That's not to say I would have wished this on you!
