I suggest an MOL get together in order to support the court case Dave and Jamie have been dragged into. Maybe some type of event at Bunny's?? $20.00-$30.00 a head..should cover expenses+ dough needed to protect this site from being destroyed by lawyers. |

In! I think we have to AT LEAST pay for the $400 court fees they'll incure whether or not they actually get sued. |

Count we Ks in as well. One way or another between paying court fees and a lawyer to handle this it will be an expensive proposistion for the Ross brothers. |

Because the town is also a defendant in this suit I am advising myself not to comment on the merits of the case. On the other hand, I do not want to see the Ross brothers damaged by this turn of events. I have already advised Jamie as to certain legal procedures in a telephone conversation. And I would very much like to be part of any fundraising efforts to defray legal expenses and the like. I can continue to offer legal advice where there is no conflict with the town's interests; and so can Ian Grodman, who practices in Superior Court on a frequent basis. If there is a fundraising or information-sharing event, we'll be there (unless we're in some marathon budget session - which is what is going on these days). Fred Profeta |

Reserve a table for us... where do we send the check? First, I suggest someone better take charge of this suggestion. Straw? Is Bunny's on board, what kind of event, will you sell tickets in advance, how many, how much per ticket, and what if anything is included in the price... Good luck. |

Okay, just spoke to the lesser Ross. Marie has nothing at all to do with this Soda. You owe her a very big apology. |

How about just a medium-sized apology? -s. BTW: I've now been made aware of who the plaintiffs are, and it ain't the Stratechucks (this time). |

Wow!!!! We'd love to host a party. Art, I'd love to see some live entertainment too. Perhaps we can organize a party committee. Art, please call Leslie and let's see what we can do. I'd prefer if someone other than me could be the MOL party moderator and promoter. Let's do it! |

If enough money is raised, can we sponsor the Brothers Ross' counter-suit for a malicious and frivolous lawsuit? Why sue individuals unless it is just pure malice? Theoretically, a successful suit against the business and the individuals could wipe out MOL and the Brothers. I have no doubt that this will not happen, but someone needs to put their foot down against people like this. Or have I just been watching too much Judge Judy? Hey, Soda... that has me thinking. Oh, never mind.... |
