Bobbestk,

That's not very good salemanship my friend. If we want to prove to the people out there that it works, why should we use it on a post that's easier to decipher than the usual fare?

Harpo -

What a mean-spirited, petty and cowardly post.

Dave should delete it and suspend you (again) for violating MOL rules re: "outing"

Outrageously uncool even for you.

Lydia,

Only in Orwell's world are some animals entitled to more privacy rights than others. If Danny Goldstein, aka Sbenois, doesn't mind, why should you or Dave? What about free speech?

I'm floating in the blimp a lot
I feel the feeling I forgot
Swimming weightless in the womb
Bouncing gently round the room
In a minute I'll be free
And we'll be splashing in the sea

I feel no curiosity
I see the path ahead of me
In a minute I'll be free
And we'll be splashing in the sea
We hear a tiny cry
As the ship goes sliding by

Free!
Free!

Free!

I'm floating in the blimp a lot
I feel the feeling I forgot
I'm floating in the blimp a lot
I feel free!
Free!
Free!
Free!
Free!

Orwellian indeed -

I'm responding with my first name* to a post from "Harpo" talking about "Sbenois'' " right to privacy.

Harpo, you seem to be trying to bait posters to expose your real name. Not gonna happen, no one is going to stoop to your level.

*only 2 Lydias in Maplewood that I know of, and one is a toddler, so most people know which Lydia I am.

I don't know what the post said for which Lydia severely criticised Harpo, but I thought it a violation of the Rules to post an anonymous poster's "real name" without his/her permission. I must therefore conclude that the alleged "real name" which Harpo used with regard to Sbenois has no relation whatsoever to Sbenois and may not in fact be the name of any actual person.

Is that clear?

No one -- not even me, an "agent of MOL" -- knows the identity of Sbenois, or for that matter, anyone, beyond a reasonable doubt.

Furthermore, I believe that many people who post share their logins.

The web is one big messy, free place, isn't it?

I refuse to believe that the rather pedestrian name Harpo tagged Sbenois with was for real. Given his postings he has to have a name like Jean Luc Pierre Benoit IV. :-)

another great Phish tune and this one is dedicated to Harpo!

bitchin' Again
She's bitchin' again
She's bitchin' again
She's bitchin' again drivin' me crazy

She's bitchin' again
She's bitchin' again
She's bitchin' again drivin' me nuts

"I thought you said
You'd bring home the groceries
I thought you said you'd fill up the tank
I thought you said you'd pull out for me
A hundred-fifty dollars from the bank"

She's bitchin' again
She's bitchin' again
She's bitchin' again drivin' me crazy

She's bitchin' again
She's bitchin' again
She's bitchin' again drivin' me crazy

She's bitchin' again
She's bitchin' again
She's bitchin' again drivin' me nuts

"I thought you said
You'd bring me some flowers
You came home with nothing
You dirty rat fink
I thought you said you'd
Clean up the living room
You said you'd do the dishes in the sink"

"I'm sick and tired of your childish behavior
You're always coming home completely soused
I'm sick and tired of this shoebox apartment
When are you going to buy me a house?"

She's bitchin' again
She's bitchin' again
She's bitchin' again drivin' me crazy

She's bitchin' again
She's bitchin' again
She's bitchin' again drivin' me nuts

She's bitchin' again
She's bitchin' again
She's bitchin' again drivin' me crazy

She's bitchin' again
She's bitchin' again
She's bitchin' again drivin' me nuts
