We don't mind if there are a few of these. :-) Also, whatever portion isn't used, we'll gift it to a good cause. |

Art - if you're expecting hundreds is Bunny's the right venue? Spring may be late this year and I don't relish standing outside... also, I don't think "to go" cups and legal in these parts. Should we see if the Maplewood Women's Club would be willing to donate the use of the building for an evening or afternoon? |

Dave, Have you thought of a cause to "gift" the extra's. I have a feeling your case WILL be dismissed. For this to go forward would be "open season" on ALL message boards. If folks from this board who contribute to the cause would agree, perhaps some of the extra money could be used in the maintenance and support for running this message board. just a thought |

Dave, Check out the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) From their website: "Just as Patriots fought for liberty and freedom, we fight measures that threaten basic human rights. Only the dominion we defend is the vast wealth of digital information, innovation, and technology that resides online. "The Electronic Frontier Foundation is a group of passionate people — lawyers, technologists, volunteers, and visionaries — working in the trenches, battling to protect your rights and the rights of web surfers everywhere. The dedicated people of EFF challenge legislation that threatens to put a price on what is invaluable; to control what must remain boundless." They're based in San Fran, and they have a ton of free legal info on their site that might help you. -rl

“ if you're expecting hundreds is Bunny's the right venue?” Yes, I really believe that Bunny’s is the right place at the right time... I’m sorry to say that more often than not, well-intentioned Molers talk the talk, but don’t walk the walk. I would like to think we could draw a thousand people, but the reality is we'll be damn luckey to fill the place. Bunny’s is perfect for that reason, plus they're going to have a bunch of people come in anyway who probably have no idea what's going on. That won't happen at the Woman's Club... Again, for those who would like a nice Saturday night out on the town, you can still go to Bunny’s, or better yet come to H2TA and kick up your heals and let down your hair... Listen, I just went through one of these on-line deals trying to help out Jesse. Can we all please stay focused and please give me a second for Sunday afternoon and vote on it, or pick another date and time so we can vote on that one!!!! I've been asked to do a job here, and I’d rather not play around for days to get a date, so Pizzaz, Jamie, Dave, any of your votes would really count big in my tally.

I wouldn't do it 26 March. The next day is Easter. Maybe we could include a 50-50 as well? Do we need a permit for that? I'm sure many more people then those of us online would want to go! Especially when it gets out the BOE, Police Dept. Township etc. are all being sued. |

Might I suggest two events, one at Bunny's (SO) and one at H2TA (MW)? Make one an evening and one an afternoon. Make one "private" and one open to all, passing a tipjar throughout (with somone explaining what's going on). BTW, I think if the tipjar link were available again, we might be able to make a hefty dent in the bill before the event(s) take(s) place. |

Someone above mentioned that they would be willing to pay money to meet two of MOL's poster celebs: Strawberry and Sbenois. Who else would people want to meet? Perhaps an auction to spend some time with your favorite MOL poster (assuming the posters were willing to participate and a suitable venue could be set for the meeting)?

well it seems clear to me that the best way to make thousands and thousands of dollars is to have straw set up in dunking booth. 3 balls for $10. i'm sure nothead alone would cover the $400 court fees. and i could get set up in a kissing booth. we'll make millions. |

Sounds like Memorial or Maplecrest Park might make a better venue -- weather permitting. |

Now If I get to choose who I could "demonstrate" on, I'd pay LOTS for that. Hmmmmm, screw the Rosses, I see big profit potential in this. The Champagne room with Sbenois Private Wine cellar tours with Mem Dunking booth with Strawberry (from that alone we could finance every lawsuit defendant in cyberspace, or maybe just bail out Social Security) Kissing booth (we need nominations here) Think of the money we'd make if there were a "Punch ____________ as hard as you can" booth This could make a fortune! |

Rasto, Good idea, but if H2TA does one it should be after Bunny's event... Better than a tip jar at this point would be selling tickets to the event. Lets get the date first. Please go to the voting thread. Hey, I'll arm, mudwrestle, or lap dance if the price is right! Well, on second thought not with Straw or Sbenois. We neede to save these guys for the VIP room... |
