I have just been told by sources at Columbia and South Mountain that an early dismissal for today has just been announced. Schools will apparently be dismissed 4 hours after the start of the day (South Mountain, which starts at 8:45, will be dismissed at 12:45). I was told normal bussing will be in place at dismissal time.

SOResident- I didn't know you were a "superstar" ! --Mrs Ng

( I posted the info in a separate thread - How DO you add a thread on top of another one?)

I cannot edit the school website to reflect the news, as I do not have remotre access to the server from here at school.

I hit the "start new thread" at top of page, thinking I was starting a new thread, but it apparently creates a "subthread" in an already existing line. How do you start a totally new discussion?

I think, go back to the page where the Education (or whatever) threads are listed, and hit "start new thread" there, instead of inside the thread (if that makes any sense).
