(not exactly Education, but...)

Does anyone know what TIME the CHS graduation is usually held? I called the school yesterday and was told it has been 4 or 5 pm, but hasn't been confirmed yet for this year. This seemed later than what I remember, but the memory is pretty iffy.

Anyone?

M..that's what I remember from 2 years ago. It has to end early enough to let the kids and their parents go out for dinner before the kids head back to CHS to get on the busses for Midnight Madness.
The venue has been changing a lot, Essex County, South Mountain Arena, even SHU in the old days. Who knows?

Last year it was in the 4:00pm range if I recall correctly, which I think is pretty typical.

Originally they were going to use South Mountain Arena in West Orange, but the construction there made it impossible and it was held at Essex County Community College, the same place as three years previously when our daughter graduated.

Thanks guys, don't know why I thought it was earlier. The situation is that my very dear sister wants to fly in, but also has a graduation in CA the previous evening. Looks like she'll be able to do it!

(LL, you may remember, I wasn't there 2 years ago so it didn't stick in my mind)

When I graduated many years ago it was at Underhill Field. I thought it was late afternoon. We went out for dinner after. There was no Project Graduation then, so a lot of kids had house parties.
