I've heard some of the songs before, but until now I've never had them all, in their original order and format, as Zappa had intended.

Speaking of concerts: Anyone have any good shows coming up?
We have tickets to see "The Eagles" in Rhode Island March 19. ( long trip, but making a weekend out of it, adults only)
Also, are currently being offered tickets to see "George Thorogood" and "Steve Winwood" in NH. ( My husband as associates who want him to visit, so we are planning a getaway)
Has anyone seen any of these bands?

my favorite Zappa quote:

"You can't always write a chord ugly enough to say what you want to say, so sometimes you have to rely on a giraffe filled with whipped cream."

Monster - thanks for the link. Very cool.

Zappa's "The Yellow Shark"

I just read the new ZAPPA biography by Barry Miles and it didn't paint a very complimentary picture of the guy. But it's a very edifying and entertaining book and I still admire the hell out of the guy.
