Tomorrow night is the Board of Ed meeting. Anyone that is against the removal of the transportation director needs to attend this meeting. We can not let this position be eliminated.

How about the Custodians? Forget them?
From what I know Tom Cunningham was pushing for privatization. Just Rewards?

While there may not be much interest in the community regarding the 2005-06 budget, there is amongst the staff. Another 40+ positions gone.

In addition to the budget, the BOE is suppossed to again set the goals and objevctives for the Strategic Plan. By my count this represents the third such effort indicating the target is moving. Participants in the Planning Council may wonder what their role was, and perhaps it will be clarified.

This vote was set for the last meeting, but questions as to meaning and the fact that one of the three editing committees had not (and has not as of thuis writing) met delayed it a week.

Last week's text is below - final? version tomorrow.

Between the staff comments on the budget and some public comment on strategic planning, tonight's meeting should take some time.

.......

Is tonight's meeting at the high school or back at the Board of Ed. building? I don't know if they've fixed the roof problem that caused the last few meetings to be relocated.
