Me & - the makeoveree is from Totowa - but they were looking for a "friendly" town with a plate painting place...
I want to know how they snuck in under everyone's radar - I know a few shop owners and nary a hint from any of them.... I guess that paintin' lady can now be trusted with national secrets...... |

Who knew the giant group of fans swarming the guys from Queer Eye would be screaming 12-year-old girls! Didn't think that age group was thier "audience."
Drove through town at around 6:30, just as they were pulling out, and from the screaming you'd have thought it was the Beatles all over again! |

I'de love to know if the township drew the line on them as heavily as they did on me. Or were they a bit "starstruck"?
But cool, I am all for more work for Maplewood. And what a boost for "paintin the plates". I have a hand painted mug that says "Dad" on it from there, but then, I suppose most of us "dads" do. |
