I am looking for other CANASTA players who would want to start a CANASTA CLUB. If you are interested please post here. If enough people are interested, maybe we can find a place to play. I would volunteer my apartment, but I have a very tiny studio.

I love Canasta. I have no idea how I would manage to fit in another regular event but if the logistics work out, I might just become a club member.

I am going to ask a few places, I am going to ask @ the Goat, the Library, and if you have a place that you can think of please let me know.
I asked a friend of mine and she's in. Right Now these Days are out until after June 7th Mondays and Tuesdays other than that Any day is fine with me.
I know that at the Milburn Library they have a Scrabble club, the charge $1.00 dues. When we get a place to play we can have a meeting where we talk everything out. That would be an awesome thing. We can do it on a weekly basis or not, whatever we can come up with.

Do to basketball, I haven't done a thing, but as soon as b-ball is over(tomorrow) I will start. The reason that I want to ask @ the Goat is because I want to use the back area, it's a little more private and if it can be used one nite a month or week or whatever, we can have a perminet place. I do know that there is a Scrabble club that meets every Monday nite at the Milburn Library, that is why I thought of the library.
If you are intrested in a Canasta "club" please let me know the nights that are good for you so when I present the idea to either the Goat or the libray I can give them a couple of choices.

good idea on the back room/quieter setup.
I am very flexible on nights. probably a lot more flexible than others. possible preference is Tuesday or Wednesday, but again, totally flexible.

I can't do Thursdays and have a somewhat variable schedule with the chorus for Two Towns in Harmony through July 3rd. But I'll be happy to try to work something out. Fridays are generally good for me.

This sounds interesting... I would love to come & play @ the Dancing Goat (or any other place in town)... Pick any week night, please no weekends...

The only time I can play Yahoo games is on my friend's pc, since I have a MAC. |
