Oh. Guess you can tell I don't drink. If you bring the wine I'm sure Mem could cook up something great with it! (thanks for telling me what it is) I thought you meant this guy we knew in high school who everyone called Fonzie because his last name was Fonseca.

Speaking of Fonseca and wine...anyone else like vinho verde (Portuguese green wine)?

It's fruity, slightly bubbly and dirt cheap if you get it in the Ironbound. Yummy with seafood.

To bring the discussion back to its original topic:

Debby:

The cat on my lap asked me to post that he would love to bunk with you since you are the one person on this board who is always asking about HIM and since he knows you would bring him lots of his favorite kibble. He also convinced that you would know the exact place where he loves to be scratched.

I'd like to bunk with SODA cause he's the only one who tells better bed time stories then me.

Sben would complain bout my cooking,Straw and I would fight about politics and MHD and I would probably kill each other.

Debby,

It does translate to green wine..whether because its "young" or because of its slight tint. I call it grown-up soda pop...has a slight fizz, is around 9% alcohol, great to drink ice cold, and you can get it around $4 a bottle. Not a bad option for a hot summer day or night. OK, resume thread topic, y'all.

I think a slumber party with the cat on Joan's lap, Joan's lap, Library Lady, Andrea and cynical would be a blast. Hotsauce would be the therapy dog, Soda would be the story teller, and sbenois would cater.

P.S. I'm guessing the cat on Joan's lap is partial to a scritch in front of the ears, and between the eyes.

THE YANKEES
THE JETS
LISTINING TO NEW AGE MUSIC
DRVING AROUND JUST TO DRIVE

The other stuff is OK Andrea, and I guess I also like a glass of beer now and then, so there, that's five!

Debby's post got me to thinking, wouldn't it be great if some (all?) of our out of town posters/lurkers like Debby, John and Susan could join us on the 1st weekend of April for the big face-to-face and show their support for Dave, Jamie and MOL in person?

Name tags shouldn't be a problem as long as each person has the option of wearing a tag bearing their real name, citizen name or a large "?".

I'll wear my own name. I don't really very much like being called Algebra in real life.

Joan - I wish I could be there, but that's the weekend I'm taking a wild stab at Jeopardy.

Algebra - I'm tutoring full-time at the college now, and everytime "Algebra" appears on my schedule I see a flash of Ned Flanders

Andrea, since you are one of the few admitted NASCAR fans, I'd hang with you. I think there might be other fans, but they aren't brave enough to reveal themselves (I'm going to the Pocono 500 for the first time this year).

Of course, I would definitely choose Library Lady too...she has access to good books!
