Happy Ides of March Birthday Wendy...I know you felt a little bad about not getting birthday wishes from me last week in that Education thread but I will not serve any happy birthdays before its time. And although I am at times perceived to be sarcastic (because I am), Im also a giver..I care. Unfortunately, I do not have the power to make it an official MOL Wendy Day...only guys with the last name Ross can do that...but I can at least carve out this little island of a thread and proclaim it quasi-officially, Virtual Cafe Thread Wendy Day. Have a swell day. And remember, on the Ides of March, to be safe, you handle the knife for cutting the cake.

Well Hank....between my son actually walking down the stairs after he woke up to give me a birthday hug (he's nearly 13 so you can just imagine that effort); my husband extending his wishes; and now this - I truly am overwhelmed. (I suppose I maintain a wee bit of sarcasm myself.)

But seriously. How considerate of you to carve out (your own knife-like words) a special thread for me. You are truly a gentleman and a scholar and a darn sweet guy. Thank you!

Hey, as long as there's a thread for just this purpose, I'll add my totally un-sarcastic birthday wishes: Happy birthday, Wendy!

Happy birthday, Wendy.

And I'm with Hank, you can't wish a happy b-day ahead of time. (Bad luck where I come from).

Thanks to all for your b-day greetings including Soda even though that wave file gave my computer the blue screen of death for some reason. I've been having a great day thus far doing exactly what I've felt like doing which wasn't anything that exciting but still fun and better than Julius' last ides.

Happy Birthday Wendy! Hope your day is going wonderfully. Are you a Pisces? ( a little 60's thing)

thanks Joan and Carrie. Yes a Pisces, Carrie. Not necessarily so 60's. Horoscopes are around everywhere - in the paper, online..... not sure I hold much stock in it but they're fun to read when there's not much else there.

Hey Wendy -- in honor of your birthday, the school district left 3/15 off of their calendar this year -- so you're not really a year older!

Happy Birthday!

Wendy,
When I was a teenager,( many moons ago) I used to do astrologocal charts. It was fun, I charged $5 for a chart and an hour reading., made a fortune one summer. People just love to hear about themselves! I can read palms, and aura's., but mostly astrology. A pisces woman is headstrong, and reeps alot of the emotions of others, depending on her ascendent. Do you find yourself to be extra intuitive and yet, often doubt these feelings quietly? My mother is a Pisces, and she has one hell of a temper when she is mad!

And no wonder that Jamie didn't say hello to me as I was entering the post office yesterday and he was exiting. He was too embarrassed and ashamed, I suppose. Then again, he may not have realized who I was . Thanks for the birthday wishes anyway Jamie and tell your mom happy (now belated) birthday.
