Is that our own Duncan M. Rogers featured on page 32 of the Star-Ledger Today section? I believe so. Duncan and Co. drew tremendous praise for the N.J. staging of Lorraine Hansbury's "The Sign in Sidney Bruestein's Window". Duncan himself was singled out for his extraordinary work. Nice job, Duncan!

By the way, Jessica Lange and Christian Slater were panned unmercifully on the same page for their work in "The Glass Menagerie"- maybe Mr. Rogers could spare a few moments to show them a few pointers.

here is a quote:

"Sidney is a role for only the most capable dramatic actor. Duncan M. Rogers, usually cast in comic parts at the Bickford Theatre in Morris Township, here shows extraordinary chops. His interpretations range from dreamy man-child to cobra-tongued husband, and he dominates all of his scenes."

Congrats Duncan!

Didn't see the article but Congrats Duncan.

I'm putting my bid in now for some "remember me" seats.

Cmon Straw.. put your money where your mouth is and come out and see the play. Might challenge some of your "online" beliefs.

Ok - forgive my ignorance. I don't read the SL. Please post info on the show.

And congrats!

Well not "stole" so much since I am off stage a total of 3 minutes the whole play, so its hard to steal a scene under those circumstances. But I appreciate the congrats. It is the play and the writing more than me frankly, they guide what I do. Just lucky that Peter (who has disliked me in "serious" roles before) saw something different here. What was different is that it is a denser, meatier play. Thats all.

well its the truth. It's hard to be good in a play as dismal as "Smoke and Mirrors" was. No matter how good the other actors/director/technical elements. Sometimes you take a gig for the weeks and pension.

Duncan, what is the chance we can get you to do a one act play of your own on our "NEW" performance stage at H2TA?

As a matter of interest we have another local couple that works at the Paper Mill who are looking to do something next month. Maybe we can get you both together and give all us Molers a chance to see you in action right here in town? Please PL me, or drop in if you're interested... BTW, great reviews!
