Wow. I'm coming up on the 10th anniversary of the same on April 2 (no rain, however, and didn't end up on my rear). We do seem to have somewhat parallel experiences...

Tomorrow marks 1 year since I threw the bum out!

Remember us one year ago bets? I find it hard to recall where I was as Lynn alone, but I can recall 'Lynn and Bets' - how scared we were, how paralyzed.

I think what strikes me most is that we have been able to move on independently, yet as friends. A year ago I couldn't breathe without you. I was that afraid.

Thank you my friend.

Thanks to TS I have a lovely collection of kitchen knives and a stellar grill pan. Not that I cook (or cut for that matter) but I have them and I couldn't have them without her expertise!

Hey Las, I'm thinking this may be THE MOL event to attend. I was on the midtown direct Monday before last and a friend of yours sat next to me with the invitation. I think you had just given it to her, or something like that. She is one of your knitting buddies.

PL me so I can send it back with an RSVP. Is this party kid friendly, in case the little one is up? He's very social, though a little young for you .

Well, looks like I've missed quite a bit of fun on this thread over the last few days!

Love the birthday shoes! Strappy and sexy and oh so alluring with the cute little peds.

Afraid I can't come if Mr. T is bringing the monster and Alex. I've already had nightmares!

But I would like to see all the other Wendy's. Although when people address me as Wendy on MOL now I still get confused.

Oh, dear - I did say straight and male, but I forgot to specify of legal age...oops.

Jay, my friend told me you saw her invite and asked, 'Are they handing those out inside?' um, no, just posting it on the world wide web.

Wendy, just because he is BRINGING them does not mean you have to LOOK.

There will be no way on God's green earth that I can ever look at Mr. T, in the flesh, and not have the monster and Alex come immediately to mind.

If he's intending to actually show them to anyone, then this party is way racier than I ever imagined.

Show them to anyone??? Who said anything about showing? I like to retain a air of mystery.

For a quiet $20, though, you're welcome to check 'em out.

Dear Las,

I hate cats, actually I'm allergic to them, so I decided as long as there are no cats at your party, I will postpone my fabulous free all expense trip to Paris to be with you on your 38th birthday.

The truth is Libby has other plans with her daughter and granddaughters that night, and I can't stand the idea of you shooting that little kitten ;-)... so count me in!

I could never get mescaline at a salad bar. I guess I should have gone to college on the east coast.

Let me see if I can clear this up for B: Apparently Mr. T is a giver and Alex helps him give unto others. The monster is for those times when others give unto him. Or vice verse.

Ajc, looking forward to seeing you. And Jay, without his baby or his desk. Mr. T. scares me but apparently he will be there with his very own posse.

Me - I mean "WendyP" - let's have someone else explain it. Another explanation from me can only serve to scare you away (which would mean one less married woman around me)...

someone help me please!
