Thank you, thank you all, for being so kind. I am especially grateful for the lesson on posting a (real) new thread. I did indeed click on the top line instead of the bottom of the post.

Sorry about the mix-up I caused with attempting a new thread. I'm learning, and hopefully, quickly!
Now, did anyone hear about the big police action going down on Springfield Ave? or shall I try again to post on this? LOL!

on a side note, when one makes a post to a new thread that's within another thread, it doesn't move the post to the top of the page when one refreshes thread view, however when viewing the topics page it does show the poster as being the most recent poster.

Or so I thought at first....
