straw, maybe you didn't get the memo, but the Kerry/Fonda photo was a fake. Wow, what an amazing bunch of slathering, frothing, mouth-breathing Rove-puppets. Calm down, you're scaring people. |

This is Edwards' take on it. Edwards said: "That's been happening in other primaries too. Republicans who would consider voting Democratic and independents are the people we have to win over to win the general election. That's why I'm the best candidate to take on George Bush." Edwards has strength among voters concerned about American jobs killed by Bill Clinton's controversial North American Free Trade Agreement, which Kerry voted for but is now flip-flopping on.

So they are sincere voters who are interested in influencing the selection of candidates? Someone I know keeps telling me that Bush will refuse to debate if he has to face Edwards, or he'll severely restrict the format or something. |

Don't count on it. If I remember correctly Gore was supposed to mop the floor with Bush in their debates. I am partial , but as I saw it, Bush cleaned his clock. |

pic was not a fake. he was sitting 2 rows behind Fonda. As a result of the pic, I cannot vote for Kerry nor can thousands of other Patriotic Americans. Look for awhile at the China Cat Sunflower proud-walking jingle in the midnight sun Copper-dome Bodhi drip a silver kimono like a crazy-quilt stargown through a dream night wind.

Gore acted weird in the debate. Remember how many times Bush said "fuzzy math"? Gore came across as stilted because he was trying not to act mean. Whoever debates Bush should resurrect "Fuzzy Math". From Oct 2000 debate: GEORGE W BUSH Look, this is a man, he's got great numbers. He talks about numbers. I'm beginning to think not only did he invent the Internet, but he invented the calculator. It's fuzzy math. It's the scaring, trying to scare people in the voting booth GEORGE W BUSH The man's practicing fuzzy math again. There's differences. Under Vice President Gore's plan, he's going to grow the federal government in the largest increase since Lyndon Baines Johnson in 1965. And we're talking about a massive government, folks. GEORGE W BUSH This man's been disparaging my plan with all this Washington fuzzy math. GEORGE W BUSH I can't let the man--I can't let the man continue with fuzzy math.

Straw, "he was sitting 2 rows behind Fonda. As a result of the pic, I cannot vote for Kerry ..." You cannot vote for someone because he was in attendance at the same event as someone you disagree with? This is your silliest comment ever! So, I guess you now scan the crowd of every event you attend to make sure there are no "undesirables" there?

I stood next to Springsteen in a club once. By the "Kerry-Fonda" standard, that makes me a member of the E Street Band. |

Yeah, an event against a war -- Vietman -- that most Americans believe was wrong in the first place. Straw, your argument on this issue is built of, shall we say, straw. The heavy GOP turnout was due to city government elections in Milwalkee and a controversial referendum on casino gambling by and Indian tribe, according to AP. |

The Indians want to build a casino right in the middle of the city because it’s technically a reservation. |

Straw-They asked me to inform you that you are excommunicated from the Republican Party because of certain disclosures on MOL. The list is long but some examples are: *Attending Grateful Dead Concerts-Every one a bachanalia of leftists weirdo's twirling around in a drug induced frenzy (they're also Al Gore's favorite band-Shameful). *Close personal contact with, "hippie chicks"-Sleeping with the enemy-unacceptable. *Residing in Maplewood-Don't you realize that everyday, your in close proximity to a bunch of leftist, pinko, subversives, hell-bent on destroying the moral fiber of the great US of A ?. Hand in your GOP card, do not pass go. |

*Close personal contact with, "hippie chicks"-Sleeping with the enemy-unacceptable. Of course, that explains everything- Straw hates liberals because he got a bad case of crabs, and 15 years later he still hasn't gotten rid of them.

Wharfrat-In defense of "hippie chicks". It may have been Straw who was the donater of these critters. After all, he does frequently brag about his success with the ladies. |
