Be on the winning team. Don't be a "looser".

A majority of Americans view him as a winner after that convention! See the latest Time poll in the other thread.

Yeah, I wish McCain was an option this year too. He gave the best speech by far and has a way of staying above the political BS and says what he feels. It will be interesting in 2008 to see McCain, Rudy and Pataki all fight for the nomination.

The more I learn about Kerry the more I feel I can't trust him. His midnight rally last night was bush-league and his Vietnam reminders at every stump have turned me off. Unless the Democrats start nominating more candidates toward the center (like Bill and not Hillary) I am voting with the fiscal policies of the GOP. You can count me as someone who switched votes based on what I heard in Boston and New York the past month.

That's the same as a vote for Nader, except it won't even be reported.

what was the margin of error?
and why are you shouting?
Incumbants often have a bigger bounce.

I don't think Kerry will do well with the debates. He can't answer a question without leaving room to take both sides of an issue.

Sbenois, Thanks for the constant references to me. If I handled those the way you do, it wouldn't be pretty.

As to Bush v Kerry, I told you long ago I wasn't optimistic. It's only a dream, and as Dr. Davenport says, it doesn't look good.
As you and your republican allies lead us into the next four years, remember to keep your compassion at the forefront. Learn how to listen to others, see what they really need and cannot obtain for themselves. If you think of the needy as whiners, I am afraid it will not ultimately serve you well. That's probably all I want to say to you, since you generally like little sarcastic word games and I really don't, so, good luck, and have fun shaving those taxes off your income. Wear your tax cut in good health!!!

Sbenois reminds me of the old movie, and a song,

"What's it all about, Alfie,
Is it just for the moment we live?
What's it all about
When you sort it out Alfie
Are we meant to take more than we give?

And are we meant to be kind, so,

If only fools are blind, Alfie,
Then I guess it is wise to be cruel,
For if life belongs only to the strong,
Alfie,
What will you say to an old golden rule?"

Remember that one?

Dearest Tulip,

The first step on the long road to recovery is being able to look in the mirror and accept responsibilitiy for your mistakes.

I think you should do that. I think you should apologize for all of your over the top fact-challenged rants, and tell the MOL community that it was all due to your sincere belief that we simply need a change in Washington.

If you do that, perhaps the 125,000 employees of Sbenois Engineering will find it in their hearts to forgive you and get down to the business of laying out the case against Dubya.

But as long as you continue to make comments like "wear your tax cut in good health" without first reading about the AMT or the tax code itself, no forgiveness will be forthcoming.

No exaggerations, all backed up with statistics, sbenois. No apologies. You and your legions are barking up the wrong tree. Any insult or injury to me or mine will be on you.

Dearest Tulip,

I have forgotten more about the tax code than you currently know.

Repent Tulip. Repent for Your Sins and the Sins of your brothers and sisters who spat on the good white people from Kansas and Missouri and Oklahoma while they walked to see Broadway shows.

Repent Tulip . Repent for Your Sins and the Sins of your brothers and sisters whose Satanic tongues did utter the words of the devil toward the good white delegates of Arizona, New Mexico, and Nevada.

Repent Tulip. You must Repent or the 125,000 members of Sbenois Engineering will not use their massive collective brain power to assist Kerry in the next two months.

Pray with me sister.
