2 Abandoned Cars

Due to a contractual agreement dating years back, I have access to 2 parking spots in my neighbors driveway. The problem is they have 2 ugly abandoned cars in two of the three of their spots which quite honestly are driving me and other neighbors crazy. Trust me when I say, both of these cars are not going anywhere.... We keep dropping hints to our neighbors about getting rid of them, even offering suggestions (donate them for tax breaks, etc.). I even offered to pay to repave the driveway if they get rid of them (and the offer still stands). They claim they will do something about it but it has been close to a year already. I know Maplewood has strict laws regarding this issue but I really wish not to call the cops and cause strife with my neighbors. They are really nice people. What would you do?
