So I went to King's this morning to pick up a few things and, while I'm waiting on line, I can't help but notice Angelina Jolie's face is on the cover of just about every magazine at the checkout! It's all about the baby, when it's due, what's its sex, will she and Brad Pitt get married or won't they, blah, blah, blah, blah, ad nauseum, ad infinitum! I just want to say: WHO THE F*** CARES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you. I feel a little bit better now. Will feel a lot better when they just GO AWAY! |

You'd think she invented pregnancy the way they're going on and on and on about this whole thing! I generally don't pay attention, but I couldn't get away from it. Maybe I just don't shop until after the divorce? That is, if they actually get married! |

Oh, these things happen all the time. Its a reflection of popular culture, I guess. Look at that whole Monica Lewinsky thing... I mean hell, JFK laid more pipe in the oval office than the entire Steamfitter's union but you never read about THAT, right? When they go away, someone will be right there to take their place. It may not be pregnancy, but it'll be something rather inane. |

Who cares? Readers of People want to know what Jennifer Aniston thinks...maybe she cares. It really is ridiculous. |

She and Brad and Angelina are laughing all the way to the bank. Their publicists are having a field day. Their egos are getting stroked at every turn. |

Personally I feel the same about Sports, I could care less and yet there is apparently a market out there for that, which evidently draws revinue, so while I don't like it I also don't pay attention to it and it wont bother you. As for an obsession about celebrity, perhaps if we had better icons and dare I say heroes to look up to an admire we wouldn't spend some much time on people who can barely even perform their supposed job (i.e. acting). By the way anyone want to buy a $250 ticket to Julia Robert's broadway debut, now there is a true thespian. |

What greenetree said. I can't account for the world at large, but in my little neck of the universe, keeping track of Brangelina is an ongoing diversion from Really Bad Things over which I have no control, and from which I get no laughs. In point of fact, I find Brangelina news just about as substantive as endless fuss about sports, or equally crappy, shallow journalism about Beltway matters. To each, her own. Now, if you'd said that about Jessica Simpson, I would've agreed with you! |

Same goes for Jessica Simpson and Nick what's-his-name, and doubly so for Britney and the scum bucket she married and procreated with--but their faces aren't currently plastered all over EVERY magazine cover on the magazine rack. |

It's all interesting in a "so I don't have to deal with my own crap" kind of way. I admit that I am sick of Brad and Angelina, really sick of Paris Hilton (except when her idiocy got exposed -- that was funny!) and revolted by Britney Spears and her scuzzy husband. Jen, I think, got the better deal when she met Vince Vaughn. And now it's back to my own stuff. Sigh. Does anyone know how Julia Roberts's twins are doing? |

The twins are fine. Julia and Danny's marriage is a bit stressed due to her interest in Broadway. She was supposed to stay home and give Danny some time to get his career off the ground. Oprah is doing marriage intervention with them. Yeah, they both have younger sisters who wish to emulate them. So does Lindsey Lohan. Jessica doesn't interest me in the slightest. With Britney, one just wonders how long before she kicks "K-Fed" to the curb. The usual stuff: hookers in Vegas, gambling, booze, husband's failed career moves. |

O.K., see, now you lost me. Kenney Chesney was married to.......Renee Zellweger? Like I said, I really don't care all that much about this stuff. I only know what I have no choice to know, what's "in my face" on a daily basis whether I like it or not, like the whole Brad and Angelina thing! |

I hear you. Last week or previous, it was Jessica all over the covers of that stuff due to the divorce. The "serious" mags had Alito, the story on whom had tabloid-like coverage so far as I could see. Most days I feel like I have as much influence the outcome of Alito or the whole where-in-the-world-is-Osama-bin-Laden messes as I do over Britney's marriage. Or local matters, for that matter. |

Cyn - that is exactly right. It is all brain candy. There are different degrees of overwhelming, and that drivel (People et al) provides an easy escape. That said, I think the nickname "K-Fed" is hilarious, and that this guy should win an award for the most notoriety for doing virtually nothing. Btw, one couple whom I wish would disappear is "TomKat". What is up with that??? |

When will people realize that Jennifer Aniston is nothing more than a publicist's fabrication? She's a no talent hack and she's downright nasty in interviews. Plus, without a personal trainer, make-up artist, hair stylist, cook and God knows what else, she'd be a "cheech" face, to quote a friend of mine. In fact, she still is a cheech face! On top of everything, she didn't want to have Brad Pitt's child. For shame! Pitt finally moved on to someone who lives life on her own terms. Plus, she's a goddess. So, boo hoo, Aniston, you missed out big time! (Yes, I love celebrity debates. It's much safer and more fun than discussing "real," controversial issues) |

I think angelina had more surgery than anniston (cheeks, lips, eyes, boobs). She certainly has more tatoos. According to the latest People (my escape bible), she has a tatoo across her belly that says "If it doesn't kill you, it'll make you stronger". It's in Latin no less. Profound, huh? Having a Signature is VERY trendy. |

You guys are totally missing the point.... Brad left Jen and now Angelina is having his baby. Vince may or may not feel insecure about this. Homewrecker? Or fate? Star-crossed lovers? Humanitarians? Or Famous People Who Are Very Photogenic? Was Vince considered a "stud" before Jen? Or just the lovable lunk side-kick? Let's keep our eye on the ball and stop over-analyzing the unimportant things. Hey. Ya think we should have an MOL baby pool on gender/weight/DOB? Cyn can't play because she read the due date in the Star. |

Angelina has looked the same since she was 13 years old and her father took her to the Academy Awards. She has the Voight lips, cheeks, etc. Aniston, no. BTW: Angelina's tattoo actually means "That which nourishes me also destroys me." They have morons working at People and US. |
