If you ever bother to pay attention, there is diverse thought over the other side of the aisle. I know many "Republicans" that can't stand George Bush and the party is split over abortion (many pro-choice Republicans) and the Iraq War. Ideologies aside, this country appears to have lost whatever social conscience and concepts of social justice it strove to develop, lost them in a morass of "me first" thinking, corporate corruption, and so-called "free market enterprise" spirit. I would just like to hear what you think is right about the world rather than what is wrong with it. You sound like a horrible pessimist. I find that working on the good things and expanding good is more effective than trying to fight bad things. Of course, we all have our positions, it's how you use your energy that makes a difference. Are you going to use energy thinking about the bad things or working on the good things?
