I love it. You can't debate for cr*p resorting to calling people names (you called me ignorant and Hitler) and lame pictures because you don't have a point. Troll. You are merely a caricature of an intelligent Republican. Nothing more. Now run away and pretend you have friends. I don't want to debate you. I want you to get help. Plus, not to mention your talking points are amateurish. For instance, what's the difference between where Republicans and John Kerry stand on gay marriage? Good luck answering that one. There's nothing like being on the ocean! |

Straw, I love you man, keep fighting the good fight, but I didn't care much for the Hitler comparison either...No place here for anyone, left or right to invoke that name. AG does seriously need to talk to someone about her issues though...There is something very wrong with her. |

There is nothing on the books indicating a plan to push for a constitutional amendment. Sorry, your answer is incorrect. Grr.. Disagree. Allygater is exactly the type of person the Hitler's of the world look to attract. There's nothing like being on the ocean! |

Nope, still not offering a difference. Saying you believe there should be a constitutional amendment but doing nothing to pursue one doesn't work. Again, the answer is incorrect. The Republican party and John Kerry do not differ. If up to both, there will never be legalized gay marriage. Sorry Tom, you tried, you fell way short. At least I HAVE talking points. You are just a broken record tossing out red-herrings, and baiting people with half thought out drivel. I can't remember the last time you actually took the time to put together two complete sentences to form a worthwhile thought. Why are you the most loathed individual on MOL, not because of your politics but for your lack of courtesy to others, and your trollish sensibilities. You are a waste of everyone's time. Do me a favor and shut up already. What is the difference between Bush and a turd? Who the heck cares. I couldn't care less about what Kerry's opinion is about gay marriage. Just because Kerry refused to be pro gay marriage doesn't mean that the Republicans aren't ANTI-GAY. And please, just because Kerry's religious beliefs might have made him side one way or another on a topic doesn't mean that he has to CRAM HIS RELIGIOUS BELIEFS DOWN OUR THROATS. That would be ANTI-AMERICAN, and yet that is what the Republicans are doing.

Alley -- you've put a lot of thought into these posts? You state that you hate anyone who doesn't have the same political beliefs as yourself and go on to accuse others of being trolls? You sound like the troll and you also come off as a closed minded bigot. |

AlleyGater- I am going to cut you some slack and actually give you some credit. While I don't agree with most of what you say, it is refreshing to finally witness a member of left admit to their own bigotry and prejudices instead of pretending they don't have any. Now only if the rest of the liberal community begin to be honest about themselves....or at leats publicly and outside thier normal circles.... Start a Revolution or shut the hell up... |

Alleygater- That is the best response you can come up with? You sound like someone lashing out after getting run over by the truth... Alleygater, believe it or not, you cannot pigeonhole ALL Republicans into one neat little package like you have a tendency of doing. If you ever bother to pay attention, there is diverse thought over the other side of the aisle. I know many "Republicans" that can't stand George Bush and the party is split over abortion (many pro-choice Republicans) and the Iraq War. Another thing I find funny how everyone makes out Bush to be this arch-conservative. NEWSFLASH: he is not.... Although I have a tendency of agreeing with Strawberry on many things, sometimes I think his deliver can be over the top-a little agressive and blunt...but to view all Republicans as "evil" is just plain childish. I bet your Uncle is thankful for you being civil to him. Gee, thanks.... But hey, it is your bigotry you have to deal with... You wouldn't have to walk on water if you just swam like the rest of us.... Start a Revolution or shut the hell up... |

EVM, thanks for the advice. I think I'll just sell my house, pick up my life, run away from the problems because you would like me too. Thanks for the advice. See my comment above about a-holes and opinions, would ya!?! I'm sorry but you Republicans think that you will be verbally abusive and suddenly people will cower from your displays of greater intelligence. Our country is going down the sh*tter and the Republicans are driving the boat. I realize that my feelings are misplaced I've admitted so, but if I am creating a fun post in the Soapbox I can choose to be creative with how I do that. And here's an F-ing NEWS Flash for you simpletons, there is no specific person who is my Republican neighbor and by that I mean, YOU ARE THE NEIGHBOR I've been talking about all this time. Everyone of you misguided Republicans who live in my community who voted for Bush and continue to support Bush. All of you who still think that the Republicans are steering us in the correct direction. You are all the problem. And while it disgusts and disappoints you all that there are such horrible biggoted people as me living in your community. I AM EQUALLY DISGUSTED WITH YOU LOT. Do I really need to leave the country in order to find one human being that cares about the poor and needy, other people in general, not doing more harm than good, that isn't greedy and who doesn't want to force their religious beliefs down everyone elses throats? I think there are tons of people who fit that bill right here in our country and are every single one of them is a whole lot smarter than the dim-witted one driving the bus right now. |

Ideologies aside, this country appears to have lost whatever social conscience and concepts of social justice it strove to develop, lost them in a morass of "me first" thinking, corporate corruption, and so-called "free market enterprise" spirit. So the minor-minded free market free-basers get the upper hand, and we watch the intentions not only of the constitution but also of the declaration of independence get gutted by the rapaciousness and sewer-level stupidity of our elected officials, regardless of party. |

Do I really need to leave the country in order to find one human being that cares about the poor and needy, other people in general, not doing more harm than good, that isn't greedy and who doesn't want to force their religious beliefs down everyone elses throats? I don't think so. But you come off like a real whiner when you put it that way. Just do your part and you will find that others will do their part. Lead by example. I would just like to hear what you think is right about the world rather than what is wrong with it. You sound like a horrible pessimist. I find that working on the good things and expanding good is more effective than trying to fight bad things. Of course, we all have our positions, it's how you use your energy that makes a difference. Are you going to use energy thinking about the bad things or working on the good things? It's your life, so it's up to you and no one else how you chose to use your energy. |
