1) Parents who need a nanny because they are too selfish to keep one parent at home to properly raise and manage the child. Forget the nanny, there are adoption agencies that will place your child in a more loving home environment. 2) Breast pump advertisements on Maplewood Online classified...Are they in such short supply that we need to be advertising used ones? Its gross. 3) Women who feel compelled to use hyphenated last names. Its a joke. Last time I checked, it was OK to use your own birth (i.e. maiden) name and you are just setting the womens movement back by assuming your husbands last name. But please.. just pick ONE name and use it. Dont smear your non-sense hypenated name all over your friends and family and work colleagues. (p.s. what last name are the children supposed to adopt?) 4) Pregnancy leave. Why should a couples sexual/reproductive behavior become corporate Americas problem?? Really, its ok to breed but dont put the consequences on me. 5) Abortion. Right, with respect to 4), your reproductive behavior IS surely my problem unless of course the tiny breathing human being is still behind the cervix in which case the public suddenly has absolutley no business involving itself in your reproductive affairs. Oh..I'm not angry; so zip it.. Just disgusted with people that are too PC and too afraid to come to terms with their sick human behavior.

well I suppose that if only single-income families were to live in Maplewood it would lower the price of real estate. |

xtralargebrain, Okay, this was a good idea. But, you should have posted each separately. Then you can insult individuals who respond and THEN you'll get banned. No one wil respond to this. It's too much. Or, are you trying to see how long you can keep this up without being banned? J.B. |

Oh... heres a few more: 1) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Its a smoke screen that bad parents have invented to cover up their bad parenting skills. 2) Parents that demand that the local school system provide special education resources for their ADHD child. It needlessly strains the school system and more importantly, its really not fair to the kids that have a genuine need for those resources. 3) Why is it suddenly so fashionable to proclaim that your child has a peanut allergy?(please research what Munchausens by proxy syndrome is all about). Should we be putting warning labels on peanut butter? Is Jiffy a harmful product? And please stop demanding that peanut based products be restricted from the school environment becuase of your perceived needs. Its all just garbage (and you know it is). |

I have a question about the hyphenated name thing. Say your name is Jones and your husband is smith. You name your kid, Susie Jones-Smith. Susie Jones-Smith marries a guy named Freddie Porter-Satterfield. What do they name their kid? Johnnie Porter-Satterfield-Jones-Smith? I think there oughta be one agreed upon family name so no one is confused. If you want a different name for work, fine. |

crabby, that's always been my question too. Then take it down a few more generations and you have Johnnie Porter-Satterfield-Jones-Smith-Wilson-O'Brien-Soprano-Moskovitz. I guess, in that circumstance, it would be up to the kid to choose one name? |

tom, I'm not sure whether real estate prices would fall if Maplewood had more single families, but taxes probably would. The fewer students in the schools, the better (I mean cheaper)! Lots of people would probably pay a premium to not have to listen to uncontrolled, undisciplined, screaming kids. GOP Man, being a Reublican doesn't necessarily make you stupid, but having a picture of George W. Douchebag attached to your name probably doesn't help your cause much. And xtralarge is right, selling used breast pumps really is about as disgusting as it gets. But come on xtralarge, without the nannies what would the husbands do to keep themselves entertained when the wives are out of the house at Starbucks? I NEVER hear husbands complain about nannies! |

Todd, here all along I was fixated on the twisted behavior of parents. But your posting then reminded me that in addition to the handful of insightful disclosures I provided above, we also need to discuss the rude obnoxious children that become the byproduct. I'll have to start a separate thread on that phenomemon soon. |

Carl, A recent cat scan now appears in my profile though shrunken several times of course. Bajou, After posting some insightful nuggets about the absurdity of the bris and the perversion of circumcision in general, I realized that some members of our online community would not be able to rationally absorb and come to terms with the sick priorities and behavior I was exposing. People will get angry when they realize that there are gross inconsistencies in their arguments about their reproductive behavior and yes, people will get upset when nobody will pay attention to their ADHD and peanut allergy crap anymore. So it only made sense to change my name to shield myself from any potential retaliation that was to be expected from the people who exhibit the conduct I exposed. Case, You and several others can't seem to grasp that there are many other highly intelligent and gifted people that know they must call attention to the bris, pregnancy leave, ADHD and peanut allergy garbage. You validate your own sick beliefs by conveniently concluding that if anyone else demonstrates any agreement with my insights, that it all has to be coming from the same person (i.e LIB). How foolish of you. Here's a news flash: I am not LIB. Memo to LIB: We need to talk. |

Case, really, for whatever its worth, I am a brand new registered user who has never posted before. You seem to be suggesting that I am an earlier poster disguising myself as someone else but what would that accomplish? Think about it. Why are you having a hard time understanding that there can be more than one individual that can pierce through the ADHD and peanut allergy smokescreen?? Why is it difficult for you to believe that there can be more than one person that believes that parents today are too self absorbed to be raising children? Why is it difficult for you to believe that more than one person is sickened by a womans demands for pregancy leave? (Last time I checked, intercourse was a choice)

Anyway.. this isnt about playing detective nor is it a debate about whether or not people know who you are. This forum is about the distribution of insightful viewpoints to our community so that they can be informed about the sick behavior of the current generation of people that are procreating. What is so wrong about that?
