New to the message board, I find that some who use it get "personal" in their writing. These messgaes are meant to communicate, but not to incite personal attacks. For Example, here is one that Tom Reingold sent me-
"I'll admit I don't see why you'd want a religious symbol in a public space. It seems as if you feel your church and home life isn't satisfying enough. Is that not it?"

Usually, messages like these are sent by frustrated little people who are lonely and lead insignificant lives - but who find an audience for their cowardice behind the electronic message. In the real world where spoken words have direct consequences I doubt they would have any teeth left if they delivered the same message to someone they didn't know.

Tom should not take this personally, It's just that his message is a perfect example of the subject.

Alberto,

Since you are new here, let me say that Tom Reingold, who I have never met, consistently goes on the record by putting his words in writing, using his full name, so he does not hide. Can you say the same? And, he is a rare person who actually admits mistakes or things he has said online that may not be appropriate (now that I think of it, he shows great Christian behavorial traits!).

Frankly though, I am a little surprised at your tone in regard to some of his remarks...it seems antithetical to the meaning and spirit of Christmas. And yes, I did catch the Bible passage about "let he among you without sin cast the first stone", so I will not pass judgement on you but I think in matters such as this, instead of referring to people's lives as insignificant and other such comments, you might instead consider, what would Jesus do?

Hank
Well, thanks for you input. "A rare person who actually admits mistakes or things.. - why is this rare to you? You further categorize it as a (Christian behavioral trait!) What, its not Jewish to admit mistakes, or perhaps its Muslim to not admit to the truth, or what? You make no sense. Since when does recognizing being at a fault become a religious issue?
I have not attacked anyone personally and understand the nature of this electronic beast. His comment was pathetic, personally directed, and quite frankly unacceptable. Your attempt to defend the comments are honorable, but unfortunately quite weak. But I accept your comments for what they are.
Thanks

Alberto,

My comments about "Christian behavorial traits" was tongue in cheek. I am sorry if you missed that, but you seem to have also missed alot of comments I and others have made too. You have shown a reluctance to answer certain questions and only address specific comments in people's responses...another unfortunate nature of the "electronic beast" and making for a position that is "unfortunately quite weak" or at least, transparent. So I too will accept your comments for what they are.

And yes, I do find it is not commonplace that people go on the record admitting fault, in this medium and all walks of life.

Hank,
Point taken. Perhaps I should reconsider.

Sra. Stefano
by the way, if you want to sell and/or expand the Brazilian operation, try our private equity firm partners at www.NorthBayEquity.com - assuming you exist.

I wish this wasn't an "embedded" thread, this could get interesting very quickly.
