Announced today that Pete and Roger are at MSG in September-also maybe at other local venues. Just heard a bit of the announcement on the car radio. Aren't there some Who fans in MOL land?? Why not get a group together to go?? Rock on, Tabby |

I lost hearing at a Who concert approx. 1981 in Hampton Roads, Va. Scully and I had seats in the second row in front of the bank of speakers. The sound went through me in a way I have never experienced since. My first Who concert was at the Garden when Keith Moon was still up and drumming. The effort he gave was evidenced by the grimaces on his face as he went on during the night. 1985, shook hands with Pete as he exited the garden stage.

Saw The Who in 1989 (yes, I was a mere whippersnapper). Not quite Keith Moon, but they put on a hell of a show. Would looooovvvve to see Pete and Roger. |

They're playing at PNC and at Jones Beach which is one of Townshend's favorite venues in the whole world (he has raved about that place because of it's close proximity to the ocean). But I have to say that I'm pretty irritated about the way they released fan club tickets which became available yesterday. Instead of sending emails to long time members like moi, they created a new fan club YESTERDAY and began charging $60 for the honor of joining together with those left in the band. So if you joined yesterday, you have the pleasure of paying another $278 for the best Garden seats before handling charges. Not very cool. I think I'm going to see them up in Toronto along with a Leafs game if the schedule works out. |

If it makes you feel any better, they don't let you get good tickets. They are all tier 3. |
