We're new to home and yard maintenance. A friend visited yesterday and told me the brown patches in my yard are due to grubs, not the early August heat and lack of rain. We have seen a few of these ugly little roly-poly guys, but I had no idea they were destructive. Help! Is there a way to rid my lawn of grubs and when/how should I go about it (without hiring someone else)? Thanks.

Buy and distribute Milky Spore and Nematodes in your lawn. But then you must use only organic products on your lawn or you will undo everything.
